Complete Dental Care from A to Z

Extend the natural life of your teeth and maintain optimal oral health with routine dental care. Regular visits to your dentist and addressing issues early, such as decay, can save you from pain, discomfort, and unexpected expenses. If you’re dealing with any dental problems, restorative care can help you get back to feeling like yourself again. General dentistry prioritizes your overall health, and here are some key benefits you can expect from both preventative and restorative dental care:

Preventative Care:

  • Keep your teeth super clean, and enjoy a whiter smile without whitening treatments.
  • Early detection of issues through X-rays, allowing for less invasive solutions.
  • Maintain healthy gums that don’t bleed or feel irritated.
  • Composite fillings that stop cavities before they worsen.
  • Experience less sensitivity when eating hot or cold foods.
  • Reverse and prevent further tooth decay.
  • Extend the life of your dental prosthetics and appliances.

Restorative Dentistry:

  • Save your natural tooth from infection and potential extraction.
  • Replace missing teeth with natural-looking solutions.
  • Restore damaged teeth to their original strength and appearance.
  • Benefit from custom-made prosthetics and appliances designed for your needs.
  • Enjoy easier eating, better sleep, and an improved quality of life.

Routine dental care helps ensure long-term health, comfort, and confidence in your smile!

Our General Dentistry services

Composite Fillings

Composite, tooth-coloured fillings offer a discreet and effective solution to prevent cavity progression and repair tooth damage. Designed to seamlessly blend with your natural teeth, these fillings provide both aesthetic appeal and functional comfort, ensuring a durable and visually pleasing restoration.

Dental Bonding

Restore damaged teeth or improve the look of healthy teeth.

Dental Bridges

Fill the gaps and replace your missing tooth or teeth by securely attaching a custom-crafted dental prosthesis through a permanent bonding process.

Dental Crowns

Dental crowns are an important element of restorative dentistry, offering enhanced strength, aesthetic appeal, and lasting durability to your teeth.

Dental Extractions

Routine and complex tooth extractions are common procedures with minimal discomfort.

Dental Implants

An implant serves as a substitute for a natural tooth root and is completed with a restoration, typically a dental crown. This combination aids in reinstating your teeth's functionality, providing an aesthetic appearance, and ensuring a natural feel.

Dentures

Whether you need new dentures or repairs for your current set, modern prosthetics effectively replace multiple or all teeth with minimal discomfort.

Root Canal

Root canal treatments can be precise, swift, and largely free of discomfort, offering instant relief while preserving your natural tooth.

Same-Day Crowns

Custom made from start to finish in just one appointment -- no temporary crown needed.

Teeth Cleanings

Regular dental checkups and cleanings are essential for preventing gum disease and tooth decay. Schedule your appointments every 6 to 8 months to avoid unexpected dental pain and costs. This routine maintenance helps keep your oral health on track and can catch potential issues before they become serious.

The Importance of Early Intervention and Routine Care

An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. We really want to see you smile. Your health is our top priority and our routine care and recommendations for early intervention come from a place of care and concern. Keeping your teeth, gums, jaw and tongue healthy right now and repairing problems when they first appear will mean much less discomfort and pain and fewer unexpected expenses for you. And that is what keeps our patients smiling.

Keep Your Natural Teeth for Longer

Did you know that the leading causes of tooth loss are cavities for young adults and gum disease for older adults? Regular oral hygiene at home is essential, but routine dental exams allow us to detect the earliest signs of gum disease and tooth decay, giving us the opportunity to intervene before these problems progress. This keeps your natural teeth strong and healthy for longer.

Save Your Money

Routine cleanings and exams are affordable, predictable, and easy to plan for. Addressing early signs of tooth decay with treatments like composite fillings is also cost-effective and a smart investment in your long-term health. Major procedures to fix advanced dental issues, however, can be far more expensive—so early intervention helps keep your expenses low.

Don’t Even Think About It

The best part about great oral health is not having to think about it at all. With healthy teeth and gums, there’s no pain, no swelling, and no constant worry. You can enjoy the foods you love without hesitation and smile confidently without a second thought. Well-maintained teeth are naturally beautiful, comfortable, and reliable.

to schedule an initial consultation & exam.

Your consultation will include an examination of everything from your teeth, gums and soft tissues to the shape and condition of your bite. Generally, we want to see how your whole mouth looks and functions. Before we plan your treatment we want to know everything about the health and aesthetic of your smile, and, most importantly, what you want to achieve so we can help you get there.

Frequently Asked Questions

A routine check-up involves a thorough teeth cleaning and a dental exam. This process helps remove plaque and tartar that build up over time, even with regular brushing and flossing. During the check-up, your dental team also monitors your overall oral health, paying special attention to any areas of concern to catch issues early.

Cavities form when leftover food particles, especially those stuck in hard-to-reach areas, feed the bacteria in your mouth. These bacteria produce acid that erodes tooth enamel, leading to decay. Diets high in sugar or acidic foods and beverages, like soda or coffee, can speed up this process.

Genetics play a role in how prone someone is to cavities. Some people are more susceptible to cavity-causing bacteria, while others may have crowded teeth that are harder to clean. Regardless of genetic predisposition, maintaining good oral hygiene and a balanced diet can reduce the risk of developing cavities.

Yes, getting a filling before you feel pain is actually ideal. Fillings stop tooth decay from progressing and prevent future discomfort. Tackling the problem early makes it easier and less invasive to manage.

Routine cleanings can help prevent and sometimes even reverse early signs of decay. If decay is detected, treatments like fluoride and composite fillings can be used to restore the tooth. More advanced decay may require a root canal or a dental crown, and severely decayed teeth might be resurfaced with veneers. In extreme cases, if a tooth cannot be saved, extraction and replacement with an implant or bridge are effective options to restore function and appearance.

Yes, preventative cleanings and routine exams are encouraged and completely safe during pregnancy. These visits help prevent oral infections and address any symptoms that might arise during pregnancy. For emergencies like infections, procedures such as root canals may be necessary. However, elective treatments like teeth whitening should be postponed until after childbirth.

I went here even tho I have major anxiety and panic attacks when it comes to dentists. Due to a very horrific experience with an ignorant rude and cruel dental surgeon in Belleville. I told the staff here and they were amazing. It didn't stop my panic but they certainly did thier best to try and calm me. Didn't rush me at all. I would recommend them 100%

Dr. Saxena is hands down the best dentist I have ever had. His knowledge and the technologies he is using, make going to the dentist a breeze. A crown is done in house within one day! And they fit like a glove. The rest of the team is super friendly too, so 100 out of 100 points.

Moved here from Toronto several years ago and I must say the dental equipments are at par, if not better. Level of service is phenomenal. Shout out to Hygienist Holly, who is amazing at what she does. Has soft and gentle touch when working on your teeth, with matching good singing voice to make you forget you’re sitting on a dental chair. Good Job!
